Caring for animals takes time, patience and people who can be counted on. As a volunteer, you may help feed community dogs, spend time with dogs at Simbaz Sanctuary, assist during awareness activities or support the team with coordination and records. What you take up will depend on what is needed and what you are comfortable doing.
Where You Can Help
Some volunteers are comfortable spending time around animals. Others prefer to help at events, speak with people, manage records or assist behind the scenes. A Few Things to Know
Animals may be frightened, unwell or recovering, so volunteers need to remain calm and listen to the team. You will not be asked to handle a rescue or assist with medical care without proper guidance.
Please also be honest about the time you can give. A few hours offered regularly are more helpful than making a commitment that becomes difficult to keep.
