Stand With Animals in Urgent Need

An accident, a serious wound or sudden illness can leave a community animal in need of immediate attention. Our team first assesses what has happened. Where possible, help is provided at the location; when clinical care is necessary, the animal is taken to Paws Universe Hospital.

At the hospital, care may include examination, diagnostic tests, medicines, wound treatment, surgery or monitored recovery. The veterinary team decides what is required for each animal, and urgent treatment cannot always wait for funds to be arranged.

Your contribution helps meet the cost of rescue transport, treatment and follow-up care. You may select a care requirement below or enter an amount you are comfortable contributing. The amount will support the selected requirement or another urgent need within this campaign.

Reaching the Animal

When a rescue call is received, the team gathers the available details and assesses the animal at the location. Some animals can be helped there. Others need careful transport to the hospital so that treatment can begin without causing further distress or injury.

3

Care at the Hospital

At Paws Universe Hospital, the veterinary team examines the animal before deciding the next steps. Treatment may involve blood tests, imaging, dressings, medicines, surgery or observation. Contributions to this campaign help meet these expenses as they arise.

70

Recovery and Return

After the immediate treatment, some animals need repeat dressings, medicines, physiotherapy or time under observation. When recovery allows, the team plans a safe return. Animals who cannot return may continue their recovery in foster care or at Simbaz Sanctuary.

Timely help can determine how soon an injured or unwell animal receives the treatment required.

Case Updates

Photographs and available details will be added here as supported cases move through rescue, treatment and recovery. Updates will reflect the information available for each animal.
